Eliminator Lighting Introduces Unique Linear LED Fixtures with a Twist

Designed to deliver lighting creativity, the new Frost FX Bars from Eliminator Lighting feature two different Led effects combined into a single linear fixture. Powerful beams are complemented by unique glowing effects to deliver a mesmerizing lightshow that will get the party started in bars, clubs, and entertainment centers as well as out on the road with mobile DJs and event companies.

Each Eliminator Lighting Frost FX BAR measures 1 meter in length and packs in fourteen 3W LEDs spaced equally across the front of the fixture. These LEDs are mounted behind individual ACL lens, creating fourteen separate intensely focused beams of light. In addition, six 5050 RGB (3-in-1) SMD LEDs are positioned around each lens, mounted behind a frosted plastic cover. When illuminated, these LEDs cause the whole front facia of the fixture to glow. The combination of these two LED effects allows both tight beam projections and eye-candy color chases to be generated from one compact and lightweight fixture.

Two models are available. The Frost FX BAR W features cool white LEDs behind the ACL lenses, allowing for strikingly bright white beams to shoot out from the colored glow of the main bar. Alternatively, the Frost BAR RGBW utilizes RGBW color mixing LEDs that allow for color mixing of the beam output as well as the background glow effect. Both models feature independent control over each beam as well as each colored background section, allowing for a huge amount of creative potential.

Both fixtures come pre-programmed with 45 built-in lightshows as well as 64 pre-set color macros. For easy setup and use, they can be set to run automatically – either at a user determined set speed, or triggered by music detected via an internal microphone. Multiple units can also be linked together in a primary/secondary configuration to create a simple but effective synchronized lightshow running over two or more fixtures. To further add to the visual appeal of such a setup, the ‘Pixel Flip’ mode can be activated on certain fixtures which allows chase patterns to be mirrored rather than directly copied.

For complete control over the unit’s output, as well as integration into a larger lighting system, both models offer multiple DMX control modes. These range from 6 to 69 channels for the Frost FX Bar W and 3 to 111 channels for the Frost FX Bar RGBW. The most expansive channel options allow independent control of each beam and glowing segment, with full RGB / RGBW color mixing control for the multicolored LEDs.

Mode selection and DMX addressing is facilitated via a 4-segment LED menu display on the rear of the fixture together with four corresponding navigation buttons. 3-pin DMX and locking power input sockets are located on one side of the fixture, while DMX and power output sockets are positioned at the other. This aids with neat cabling and means that multiple fixtures can be connected to a single power outlet.

Weighing it at just 3 Kg each, and measuring (L x W x H) 1000 x 70 x 121.4mm, the Frost FX Bar fixtures are both conveniently portable. They are each supplied with a variable angle bracket, which locks in place via a pair of thumb-tightening screws. The units can be mounted either horizontally or vertically, allowing for unique configurations on stages, as part of mobile lightshows, and integrated into lounges, clubs, and other venues. The fixtures are also designed such that when multiple units are placed directly next to each other they will create a seamless band of glowing color and perfectly spaced beams.
